Wild Cards Goes British
Very pleased with an email that just came in from GRRM. Looks like the Wild Cards Series
is going to get a major reboot in the UK! I knew that the first three books were going to get pubbed there, but the deal just got a bit larger. To quote George:"We're doing something old and something new. Orion will be reissuing the first three books in the series, WILD CARDS, ACES HIGH, and JOKERS WILD. But they will also be doing five of our new books: INSIDE STRAIGHT, BUSTED FLUSH, SUICIDE KINGS, FORT FREAK, and LOWBALL."
Cool. That means two of my efforts in the series (Fort Freak and Lowball) will be hitting Waterstones. I'm pleased about that.

Looking forward to it. I plan to write to Orion and encourage them to do the rest as well - the first ones have been printed several times, it's the middle ones that are hard to come by!
Exactly. It's all about the sales. If they sell, they'll do more. And if the movie goes forward... that could help too!

I wish all that nice stuff would be translated in as many languages as possible. It obviously deserves it.
As for a translation in French, I think I know somebody who would be more than willing to do the job... ;-)
