The Other Lands: Book Two of the Acacia Trilogy (Hardcover)...
That's what it now says Here on Amazon.com! Small milestone, I know, but it's one more step along the way of making this book feel real. They have it slated for a September 15th publication. This far out that's not guaranteed, but if it does work I'd love that pub date. I've had winter, spring and summer publications before, so might as well give fall a try.
By the way, you could, of course, pop over to Amazon and pre-order now...

Oh that's awesome! I was wondering when book 2 would be released. And if it stays a September release, I can get it as my birthday present to myself ;-)
Awesome. Just awesome. Can't wait!
David,
That's great news. I bet that feels good, yeah? Hey, any idea when they'll throw up a bk cover for it?
Also, too, other book news, just snagged a galley of Lent's new book AFTER YOU'VE GONE. It's staring at me now. Can't wait to rip into it tonight. Too, it'll hit shelves in March.
Always good to hear that I've got some folks looking forward to this. Thank you.
Drew,
Great that you got Jeffrey's new book. I know it's been in the works for a long time. I wish him the best for it.

I may have missed somewhere along the way but is there a cover yet David?
Travis,
Nope, no cover yet. It'll likely be a couple of months. You can be sure that when I have any images I'll be sure to toss them up here, though!
-D.
Cool deal. Good to know it's on the way.
David: Congrats on the Amazon listing! I'd love to list you on The Signed Page... ;)
Thanks David. I absolutely loved the Acacia cover. It's actually what sold the book for me. I go to the bookstore 3 or 4 times a week, saw it and picked it up a half dozen times and i finally bought it because the cover was so sweet. I really wouldnt mind something elegant like the Italian cover though. That was one of the best covers i've ever seen.
Shawn,
Glad to hear it! I'm sure that can be arranged...

David,
So glad to hear that book two has a release date. I absolutely love the first book. It's rarer than it should be in fantasy to find a well-written, well-plotted novel like yours! To me you're right up there with my other favorites, GRRM and Tad Williams.
I've been singing Acacia's praises to my friends for a while and even got my wife to read it. (She enjoyed it, too.)
Anyway, I can't wait to read book two, and I'm happy to have found your blog, too.
Chapter11studios,
Hey. Thanks for all that. Very glad you liked the book and that you're letting folks know about it! That's a great help, and I love being included with those favorites...
September is going to be a long time, but it is one I'll gladly wait for. Acacia has been one of the best books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I'm sure Book 2 will only be better. Thank you so much for your writing.
Johngalt,
Very kind of you to say that. You must be an incredibly insightful reader! ;)
But now I have to worry about The Other Lands being BETTER? Pressure, pressure...
