I agree with every part of what she say. There are many bad aspect to the "media-show" society, but the ability to bring together so many countries in rescue for one is great.
Yeah. I do find the "We'll get to work once you guys leave" attitude worrying. Maybe they know what they're talking about, but I'm concerned that once the media stops covering tragedies like this the world stops paying attention, stops donating, stops funding the recovery. That can't be a good thing.
