Well, I for my part, I DO love Michael Stein.
When I heard that your story was about a cat, I made a long face and did not expect too much. But I was very pleasantly surprised. I could totally see Maya (as you portray her in your blog) in Lucy. And you just HAVE to love Michael Stein for his dedication to make her happy again!
But, I thought, that is a lot of responsibility for Lucy. But then, she is a very resourceful girl and a lot of good will come from this.

So far I have read only 3 stories in the book, but I am already glad I bought it.

Thank you. That's wonderful to hear. It's a pretty different story for me, but writing for kids (and the adults that have them) is important to me. Hopefully, it's going to be a big part of my future work.

Michael Stein may be part of that. I could happily see writing a bunch of short novels about him and Lucy on various cases.

And thanks for purchasing the book. Great cause and it looks like it's been quite a success!
