How about galleys for those of us in the UK (he said, optimistically)? In fact, do we have a UK publication date? I can't find it on Amazon...

I hope we can get one to you soonish. I just mentioned you and Strange Horizons to my publisher, just to make sure.
I think the UK deal is pending. I know it's in the process, but not sure just what the details are. When I know, I'll mention it here!

Are you concerned at all about this coming out at about the same time as GRRM's long awaited 5th book and stealing some of your thunder?
No.
Compared to George, I don't have any thunder. So be it.
There's always somebody else coming out with a bigger book. Not much that can be done about that. We're a few months apart anyway, so...
Well, you've got thunder as far as I'm concerned :P
