Copy Edit Returned
Today I returned the copy edited version of The Sacred Band to my publisher. I've lived with it for the last two weeks, revisiting the story in full, with lots of comments/edits/corrections/questions to respond to as I did. Good fun. The process always makes the book better.
And, most importantly, that's another step completed on the march to publication!

Congrats. I haven't yet had the pleasure of such a moment, but if it's anything like final revisions you're probably feeling pretty fantastic.
Hope all is well.
Cheers,
Dave
You bet. :)
Congratulations! I recently enjoyed and reviewed Acacia on my blog, and I'm looking forward to reading and reviewing The Other Lands and The Sacred Band as well.
Just finished The Other Lands. Fantastic! I love how unbalanced you left it, with WAY more character development left in the conclusion. Good tales were spun.
Bravo, looking forward to October 4th :)
I'm in Japan and one of the things that helps keep my sanity is reading. I just finished the first Acacia book today and started the second. Thank you very much for having the third one well on the way. I'd just like to tell you that all the hard work that you put into your writing is very much appreciated. You've created some great characters and some very interesting twists. The best compliment I can give you is that you have been top shelved with my favorites... The complete Dune series... Everything W.E.B. griffin has ever written... George R.R. Martin. Keep it up you have a very loyal fan here.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
