On A Different Italian Note...
I can't help but take a moment to acknowledge the earthquake in Italy. When I was writing Pride of Carthage, I had the great pleasure of taking several trips to the Mediterranean, including a long driving and camping tour of Italy. I loved it, of course, and have great memories of it. I fondly remember hilltop villages like the one in this BBC story. My heart goes out to those dealing with the destruction and loss of life.

Thanx David.
We all hope those heartquakes stop attacking that region, so we could begin the rebuild.
It still shocks me that earthquakes can cause so much terrible damage in the world. I hope the worst is over and that everyone heals quickly and that things eventually return to normal.
Just a terrible event.
Seems devastating quakes have been hitting with much more frequency in the past ten years, and all over the place.
I'm praying for the victims and their families.
