UK Covers for Pride of Carthage

First up is the hardback version, which is published by Transworld. I thought it was quite nice.

The first attempt at the paperback is below. I wouldn't have complained about this one, but I'm decidedly not a good judge of these things. The publisher didn't feel this one would jump off the shelves. They even thought the bookstores weren't ordering it in the quantities they wanted to see. So what to do? Just change the cover.
