Though you could attribute the animals having human-like features to the rash of films that have CG-ed creatures whose faces act like ours, her use of it is very interesting. She's actually showing a relationship among the cats in the picture.<BR/><BR/>Additionally, I've never met any 9-year-old who knew how to cross-hatch AND use it appropriately. Besides the whole "That's better than I can d...Wow. Besides the whole "That's better than I can do" hyperbole, that's actually quite good. While I'm sure some would comment (not here, just in general) about the lack of photo realism in art, that is not what these cats are to her. They are representations of what she sees, and show quite a bit of personal artistic style. <BR/><BR/>I've seen art by "real" artists that doesn't have as much stylization. While I'm sure that you already are, this seems like a talent that should be nurtured and encouraged.
